For several years, Interferences, Arts and Technologies has been working on the development of a collaborative, efficient and flexible digital graffiti system. Over the years, the device has been used for many creative projects and has never ceased to amaze young and old, amateur and professional artists. From Amos to Montreal via Quebec, from a series of workshops through architectural projection, digital graffiti has dazzled more than one. Its strength? Its great flexibility in the type of surface that the technology used allows.

What ?

The digital graffiti system of Interferences, Arts and Technologies is one of a kind. The initial idea comes from the desire to make the gesture of graffiti a performance in itself, ephemeral and spectacular, as well as to allow this form of expression to be exercised on real walls thanks to modern technologies of video projection. In addition to being able to be used on a large scale during large events and projected on huge surfaces such as architectural facades, the can of digital graffiti can also be used in small intimate events, both indoors and outdoors. It can be used by amateurs or even be mastered by professional artists in search of new mediums.

How ?

Our digital graffiti technology allows live drawing on any surface. The use of the can is very easy and intuitive. An infrared camera captures the movement of the can in space thanks to an LED light installed on it. On the button of the can, a sensor captures the pressure of the user’s finger. On a graphical interface, you can choose the color, size and line style. All these parameters are gathered in the software and the line exerted in space is projected on the target surface.
